I used the CD Version 3.4D which is almost equivalent with the version of software that came with the purchase of the TV Tuner, the only real difference being there are no 64-bit drivers on the software that came with the TV Tuner. According to the Hauppauge Computer Works website they recommend the CD Version 3.1G for use with 64-bit Vista. If you have already used Windows Updates to install the drivers use HCW Clear to uninstall.

Do not use the TV Tuner driver version provided by Windows Updates. The installation of the Hauppauge TV Tuner drivers should be run independantly before the WinTV application installation.
